Cerebellum
The cerebellum, also called the "little brain," is on the back of the brain stem. This structure enabled nonverbal learning, such as riding a bike, and memory as well as time judgement, coordinating voluntary movement-- moving one are-- and telling the difference between sounds and textures (Bower & Parsons, 2003). If the cerebellum become injured, a person's movement will become jerky and have difficulty with moving. Coordination is also ruined when someone has been drinking alcohol.
